Game farming businesses are slowly lifting their heads. They have faced a few difficult years. Hard work, determination, and support for each other are some of the drivers ensuring success. But we must honour our local hunters for supporting our game farmers. They made a huge difference and brought much hope to the industry. Many thanks to each and every hunter. In our program of 16 September, Flip Hennop of Voorwaarts Game Safaris tells us more about his business and his association with the South-African Wildlife Ranching Association. He also gives thanks the local hunters of our country.


Richard York, CEO of WRSA has some information on their National Auction that will be held on 8 and 9 October at Castle de Wildt near Modimolle.


Gys Pitzer Director of Gys Pitzer Motors and Owner of Castle de Wildt, tells us about his beginnings and his interest in wildlife and nature. The Castle de Wildt venue is unique and suitable for conferences weddings exhibitions and auctions such as the WRSA National Game Auction.


Charl Senekal Junior is the Director of Senekal Farming and the Zimanga Private Game Reserve in KZN. Photography lovers will find this reserve one of the jewels when it comes to taking photos of nature and wild animals. Special facilities are available for photographers and bird-watching enthusiasts.
