The competition highlights outstanding performance in financial management, operational efficiency, infrastructure development, production techniques, labor management, risk mitigation, conservation programs, and the use of mechanization and technology. Additionally, community involvement and effective communication skills are key criteria evaluated to determine the winners.
Annually regarded as one of the highlights at TLU SA, the Young Farmer competition not only offers recognition but also exciting rewards. The winner will receive an overseas trip and a double-cab 4×4 vehicle for use during the next year. Furthermore, additional cash prizes will be awarded to the top three winners.
