Scientists at the University of Warwick studying 1600-year-old cotton from the banks of the Nile have found what is believed the first evidence of cotton textiles and that domesticated cotton was not a cultural import. In our program of 26 April, Tanya Aucamp, Independent Consultant at Cotton SA tells us more about the role of Cotton SA in the industry, the impact of cotton on the environment, and the role of the consumer in South Africa.

Stuart Botha is the Winemaker at Tokara Wine and Olive Estate situated in a magnificent setting near the town of Stellenbosch. During the 2021 Concours Mondial du Sauvignon International Wine Competition held in Brussels in Belgium, Tokara took the honours in winning the Dubourdieu trophy. South Africa made history, we won 11 gold and 9 silver medals. Well done. We are proud of you.
